A first-time dyer joined me in the studio to discover the magic of indigo dyeing. She loved experimenting with ideas to coax new patterns out of the cloth. There were lots of smiles with each reveal. I can’t wait to see what these pieces of cloth turn into, in the hands of this accomplished seamstress.
